What we do

Healthcare prices are notoriously hard to find and compare. We compile published consumer price-transparency data — from FAIR Health, the Peterson-KFF Health System Tracker, Sidecar Health cost guides and CMS/Medicare — into plain-English, comparable price ranges for common shoppable procedures and present a typical estimate plus lower-cost and higher-cost estimates for each metro.

What we are not

We are not a hospital, insurer, billing company or medical provider, and we do not give medical, insurance or financial advice. The figures shown are estimates compiled from published sources, not per-hospital quotes — your price varies by hospital, setting and insurer. For exact figures, check the hospital's price-transparency machine-readable file and confirm with your insurer.
